FEBRUARY 5, 2014
Freed-Hardeman University’s Office of Alumni Relations will host the seventh annual Chili Bowl Monday, Feb. 17. The cook-off, open to faculty, staff, students and friends of FHU, will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Brewer Sports Center’s auxiliary gym. The original date of the event had to be changed because of heating issues at the venue.
A panel of judges has been selected to choose the winners of the Chili Bowl. Attendees will also be able to select a winner through the People’s Choice award. Entry fees are $25 for chili, $10 for brownies and $30 for both.
The price of admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for students and children. For more information on Chili Bowl Numero Siete, contact Ann Marie Williams at 731-989-6021.
