Corinth Art Center to Feature Work of FHU Professor

Henderson, Tenn. - Aug 19, 2015

The work of a Freed-Hardeman University art professor will be on exhibit August 30 - September 30, 2015, at the Corinth Art Center in Corinth, Mississippi.

The show will feature works by Laquita Thomson, including cyanotypes, collagraphs and reduction linocuts. A reception and gallery talk are planned for August 30, 2:00 - 4:00pm. The show, Prints and Cyanotypes, contains photographic and printmaking images of Southern landscapes and lifestyles.

With degrees in painting and printmaking, Thomson teaches art and art history courses at Freed-Hardeman. This is the second venue for this show. It was featured earlier in the summer at an Auburn, Alabama, gallery.
