APRIL 8, 2014
Freed-Hardeman University has scheduled two days for Chester County High School students to register for dual enrollment courses at the university. FHU staff will be available April 24 and May 8, 5-7 p.m., in the Gardner Center to assist students with the registration process.
Dual enrollment courses allow high school juniors and students to meet high school graduation requirements while also earning college credit. The program offers general education classes at $300 per 3-hour course. With a 3.0 grade point average, students are eligible for the Tennessee Dual Enrollment grant, which would cover $300 per class, for up to two classes or $600 total.
To enroll, students must have a 21 composite ACT score and a 3.0 high school grade point average.
