FHU Announces Nominees for Mr. and Miss FHU

Freed-Hardeman University has announced the 2016 nominees for Mr. and Miss FHU. These students are seniors, voted on by the faculty and staff, who best represent the spirit of Freed-Hardeman. Their character, influence, involvement, leadership and academic ability were factors in their selection.

Mr. FHU nominees are Will Cobb, nursing major from Petersburg, Tennessee; Jordan Newby, biology major from Knoxville, Tennessee; and Austen Oakley, Bible major from Florence, Alabama.

The nominees for Miss FHU are the following: Katie Yenawine, undergraduate finance major and master’s business administration major from Jackson, Tennessee; Amber Nicole Pippin, dual BBA/MBA accounting major from Dickson, Tennessee; and Julia Tesh, studio art major from Clemmons, North Carolina.

The winners will be announced Monday, March 14, at 10:30am, during FHU’s daily chapel program.
