FHU Theatre Presents “No Doze”

Henderson, Tenn. - Oct 06, 2015

Twelve students from Freed-Hardeman University Theatre will write, direct and perfect a 40-minute play from scratch in 24 hours. The “No Doze” theatre production will then be presented at FHU’s Black Box Theatre, Saturday, October 10, at 7:00pm.

The students will meet at the theatre Friday night to begin the process of writing the play. Staying up all night, they will completely block, direct and perfect their creation. After the 24 hours have passed, the tired yet dedicated students will welcome guests to view their production.

FHU Theatre, directed by Dr. Cliff Thompson, hosts “No Doze” theatre performances each semester. The date for the spring semester “No Doze” theatre performance has been set for Saturday, January 30.

Guests are invited to attend the performance. The admission fee is $5. The proceeds from the event assist theatre students in attending the Southeastern Theatre Conference.
