On July 15, 2010 Freed-Hardeman graduate Eric Forsythe received the Top Final Assessment Score Award for Freed-Hardeman University’s MBA program. Forsythe was presented with a plaque and a check to honor his achievement at Regions Bank on Channing Way in Jackson, Tenn., his place of employment. Presenting this award were Dr. Tom De Berry, Director of Graduate Studies in Business, and Dr. Keith Smith, Dean of the School of Business.
This award recognizes the graduating MBA student at Freed-Hardeman who earns the highest composite score in the program assessment activities. Factored into that score are the ETS Major Field Test for the Master of Business Administration and the Exit Essay, which is graded from the perspectives of communication skills, leadership skills, and ethical decision-making skills.
Mr. Forsythe is the first recipient of this award, which was first implemented in the fall of 2008. He completed his degree while being a full-time employee at Regions Bank. This means that he had the highest composite score for these program assessment activities of all MBA graduates for December 2008, May 2009, August 2009, and December 2009.
“Eric performed in an outstanding manner with our MBA program assessment activities that he completed in July of last year before graduating with his MBA in August,” said Dr. De Berry. “His score on the ETS test was strong, ranking very favorably as compared to thousands of other MBA students completing this exam across the country. His performance on our Exit Essay was superior, receiving a “high pass” on two of the three grading categories and a “pass” on the third. We are very proud to count Eric as one of our graduates.”
The Freed-Hardeman University MBA is available online and on campus. GetEducated.com selected the program as a Best Buy and one of the Best Online Graduate Schools.
