Freed-Hardeman University Honors Mr. and Miss FHU

Freed-Hardeman University has named two students as the ideal representations of FHU students. Mr. and Miss FHU for 2017 are Bradford Durham from Roanoke, Virginia, and Jaime Leonard, from Neosho, Missouri. The winners were honored Monday, March 13, during the chapel period.

Durham, a finance major, is the portfolio strategist for the Clayton Investment Team and treasurer of the Student Government Association. He is also a four-year member of Chi Beta Chi. After graduation, he plans to earn credentials required to become a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Financial Planner.

Leonard is completing a double major in computer science and in interactive digital design. She has been an officer in Chi Beta Chi and a member of the Student-Alumni Association. She plans a career in User Experience/User Interface design.

Four other senior students were finalists for the title of Mr. and Miss FHU. The other candidates for Mr. FHU were Noah Icenhour, a Bible major from Springfield, Ohio, and Austin England, a law and politics major from Gallatin, Tennessee. Additional finalists for Miss FHU were Carly Bedsole, a nursing major from Arab, Alabama, and Cassie Sikes, a business administration major from York, Nebraska. She is also pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree.
