Sigma Rho Wins Makin' Music Sweepstakes

Henderson Tenn. - Apr 14, 2015

Sigma Rho took the sweepstakes prize for their presentation of “Up, Up and MIA” at Freed-Hardeman University’s annual Makin’ Music production. University social clubs presented their shows three times last weekend, April 10 - 11, with judges at each presentation.

Xi Chi Delta and Theta Nu took second and third places, respectively in the club competition. Xi Chi Delta’s show was “Mine All Mine,” while Theta Nu presented “A Hassle in the Castle.”

Theta Nu also took home The Spirit of Makin’ Music award given to the club that best exemplifies the four keys of Makin’ Music throughout the year. The “keys” are involvement, participation, cooperation and work, according to the 1978 Makin’ Music program.
