Art Professors to Show Work at FHU

Three Memphis painting professors will exhibit their work Jan. 31-Feb. 28 in Freed-Hardeman University’s Troy Plunk Gallery in Bulliner-Clayton Visual Arts Center.

The three: Beth Edwards, Erin Harmon and Susan Maakestad will present “Nature Reconstructed” throughout February. The artists’ talk and opening reception will be Jan. 31, 5-7 p.m.

Edwards is a professor of painting at University of Memphis. Harmon is the chair of the Department of Art and Art History at Rhodes College and Maakekstad is professor of art at Memphis College of Art.

The exhibition is free and open to the public.
