Students Win FHU Photography Contest

MARCH 21, 2013

Winners of the photography contest held March 11 in conjunction with Freed-Hardeman University’s Connections Series have been announced.

Morgan Robinson, a senior art major from Visalia, Calif., took first place. Second place went to Mitchell Bazzell, a senior marketing major from Decatur, Ala., and third place to Maegan Robertson, a senior art major from Morris Chapel, Tenn. Cash prizes were awarded to the winners.

The theme for this semester’s Connections was “Truth or Dare: The Consequences of Progress.” Students submitted an 11 x 14 print of an original image centering on technological and societal progress while measuring the cost of reaching these goals. Entries were displayed in Colbert-Crews Activity Center throughout the week.
