The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools announced re-affirmation of accreditation for Freed-Hardeman University today at its annual conference in Orlando, according to Dr. Joe Wiley, FHU president. The Freed-Hardeman University Student Alumni Association has recently announced the representatives on the 2011 homecoming court. The freshman, sophomore and junior classes each voted for two boys and two girls to represent their class. The senior class selected three boy and three girl representatives; the senior representatives will be in the running compete for homecoming king and queen. The coronation of the king and queen will take place at the homecoming banquet Friday, Nov. 11. The court will be presented during halftime of the Lady Lions’ basketball game, which begins at 1:00 Saturday, Nov. 12.
