Dr. Michael Rader, Franklin, Tenn., will present a seminar entitled “Stem Cells: Building Blocks of Life and Repair” April 14 at 6:00 p.m. in Ayers Auditorium on the campus of Freed-Hardeman University. He will discuss the ethical, political, and scientific aspects of stem cell research.
Dr. Rader holds a Bachelor of Science from Freed-Hardeman and is a 2003 graduate of University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to being a practicing veterinarian, he conducts stem cell research on adult adipose stem cells.
The event is hosted by the university’s biology club and the public is invited to attend.
