Associate of Applied Science in Nursing Curriculum

The nursing program leads to an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) and consists of the pre-licensure content. Courses of study include natural science, behavioral science, Bible, and nursing. It is four full semesters and three short courses long. Upon successful completion of content in the Department of Nursing, the student is eligible to take the NCLEX-RN, provided the student can legally take the exam at the state level.

A curriculum plan listing the required course sequencing for the AAS is shown on the next page. The courses meet university and professional expectations for the degree.
