Honestly? R.U.S.H. Freed-Hardeman University

He needs to shower. She needs a haircut. That guy talks too much. That girl smells weird. Let’s be honest. We’re pretty good at spotting other people’s faults. The thing that isn’t fun? Talking about our own.

When was the last time you took a long hard look at yourself and liked what you saw? Deep down nobody wants to be a bad person. We want to do what’s right and be what we’re supposed to be. What’s keeping us from being that?

Our key passage for the weekend is Romans 7:24-25:

"What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God - through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin."

This year we invite you to take an honest look at who and what you are. What you’ll find at R.U.S.H. is an experience filled with opportunities to help you become the person you want to be.
