More than 100 participants took part in this year’s Christian Training Series, hosted by Freed-Hardeman University. For nearly forty years, CTS has facilitated spiritual growth and renewal in Christian adults. “Seek God’s Kingdom First” was the theme of the annual summer event July 8-12.
CTS participants attended Bible-based classes, seminars, chapel, and devotionals throughout the week. Other activities included fellowship opportunities, singings, a talent show, and various luncheons. CTS hosted its fifth annual auction, with participants donating an item from their home state. The proceeds from the auction went to the E. Claude Gardner Bible Scholarship
Fund at FHU.
Dr. Sam Hester, professor of Bible, directs CTS. For more information on the series, visit www.fhu.edu/CTS.
