Today, FHU held their 10th annual Tolling of the Bell ceremony to ring in the beginning of the academic school year. Joe and Wanda Johnson, FHU alumni from the 1930's, served as Masters of the Bell. 

This year's Makin' Music had six incredibly talented hosts and hostesses: Emma Rinks, Sarah Ray, Madison Chandler, Aaron Palmer, Glenn Weaver, and Jeremy Jenkins.

The hosts and hostesses perform "The Nicest Kids in Town" from the musical Hairspray.

Makin Music Weekend was full of activities and events on campus, including the premiere performance of Standing Room Only, FHU's show choir. The show was titled "Cinemagic" and featured songs from movies of the 20th century.

FHU Seniors Garrett Meggs and Emma Rinks were announced as Mr. and Miss FHU during a special chapel ceremony today. Other nominees included Kakole Cook, Tyler Hughes, Laura Newberry, Jessica Allen and Robert Hatfield.

On Monday, the Crews family visited campus for a ribbon cutting at the Crews Colbert Activity Center.   

The Theatre department presented Macbeth February 26-March 2 in the Black Box Theatre. This version was set just after the civil war, in a world of Union officers, southern belles, and otherworldly witches. 

On Tuesday, UPC brought musician Dave Barnes to campus for a concert. More Than A Movie featuring FHU alumni Scott Utter and Zach DeBerry opened.

The 73rd Annual Bible Lectureship took place on campus February 1-6, with the theme "Crying Out to God: Prayer and Praise in the Psalms."
