Richard England Participates in Juilliard Workshop

Freed-Hardeman University professor Richard England worked with an artist-in-residence for the pianoSonoma Music Festival in collaboration with The Juilliard School Evening Division in New York City the first week of June.

England worked with violinist Doori Na, winner of numerous competitions in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Also an avid chamber musician, Doori Na has collaborated with such artists as Itzhak Perlman, Roger Tapping, Cynthia Phelps and Nancy Allen and has toured Europe, Japan, Guatemala and the United States.

Having completed five seasons in Sonoma County, California, the pianoSonoma Music Festival collaborated with The Julliard School’s Evening Division to bring this new version of its summer programming to New York City.
