The School of Sciences and Mathematics is housed
in the Associates Science Center in the heart
of the campus. In addition to faculty offices,
the building houses eight large labs (two for
chemistry, one for physics and five for biology)
plus smaller labs for advanced biology and chemistry
course work. There are two classrooms plus a large
lecture hall and a large computer lab. In addition
to the Science Center, the Research Center (located
behind the Sports Center) provides opportunities
for our science students to conduct research while
giving them valuable laboratory experience for
their scientific and medical careers. Board approval
has been given to expand the Science Center as
funds become available.
