Art Gallery

The Troy Plunk Art Gallery in the Bulliner-Clayton Visual Arts Building displays art by local, regional and student artists. To attend opening lectures and receptions, see the schedule dates and times.

The Troy Plunk Art Gallery on the campus of Freed-Hardeman University encourages campus and community appreciation of art by providing opportunities for visitors to view original pieces of art. The gallery hosts exhibitions with professional artists every year, as well as senior exhibits for all graduating studio art majors plus additional projects outside the gallery's walls. The gallery stimulates active learning about art and the creative process by providing opportunities for dialogue that allows students to interact with the artists at opening lectures and receptions. The senior exhibits provide students with the opportunity to exhibit a body of work and to explain and defend their work with faculty and other students.
