Online Associate of Arts

OUR MISSION

The mission of Freed-Hardeman University is to help students develop their God-given talents for His glory by empowering them with an education that integrates Christian faith, scholarship and service. The online Associate of Arts Degree allows the University to share the Freed-Hardeman University experience with a greater number of students in Tennessee and across the U.S.

WHY STUDY HERE?

The online Associates Degree in General Studies is a 60-hour program that satisfies the general education requirements for most bachelor’s degrees. The degree is designed for those students who wish to participate in the Freed-Hardeman classroom experience, but logistically, cannot move to the campus in Henderson, Tennessee.

Students will experience the same academic rigor, instructional excellence, and faith-based approach to learning that one would expect in our traditional classroom setting. Resources are available to ensure student success, and support staff are dedicated to answering all student questions and providing assistance when needed.

Tennessee students who enroll in this program may be eligible for state funds dedicated to educational pursuits. Students enrolled in this program may be eligible for funds from TN Promise, TN Reconnect, and/or the TN Strong Act.
