Women of Influence

A conference to explore the impact of women on our world. The day will feature women leaders in business, faith, and community service.

Members of the Freed-Hardeman University community are to invited to explore the impact of women on the world today. Leaders in business, faith, and community service will provide guidance throughout the morning, speaking to students, leading group panels, and sharing stories of the impact of women in society.

This half-day event seeks to highlight the value of women in business and community, increase awareness of the challenges and opportunities for women, and further networking between the community and students. Lauren Fitzgerald, managing partner of The Mom Complex and FHU alum, will be the keynote for this significant day. Lauren, a leader in consumer behavior, works with global companies to help them innovate for and connect with their “mom” consumers. She is also the recipient of Forbes’ GenNext Award and Marketing to Moms’ Full Circle Award.

The Women of Influence conference will explore the impact of women during every stage of life. Perspectives of different generations and genders will highlight the contributions of women in sessions addressing issues such as the head of the household effect, life balance, intentional influence, and legacy leadership.

The event will be held in the Brown-Kopel Business Center on the FHU campus in Henderson, TN.
