MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (M.B.A.)

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed for students who seek advanced study in business. Our 30-hour program can be completed totally online. Courses are taught in eight-week blocks and can be completed in approximately one year.

The College of Business also offers a dual enrollment BBA/MBA degree that allows the student to earn an undergraduate business degree and an MBA. BBA/MBA students can earn this dual degree in marketing, management, finance, or accounting, in which they will also obtain the credits needed to take the C.P.A. exam. The BBA/MBA degree is detailed in the undergraduate catalog.

As a requirement to graduate, students must participate in program assessment activities scheduled near the completion of their coursework. These activities are integrated into the capstone BUS 559 Strategic Decision Making Course. The details of this scheduling are initiated when the student begins the course.

HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT Graduate Certificate

This program is designed for individuals who have earned a baccalaureate degree in any discipline and who are seeking functional competency in the healthcare management field.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must apply to the university and gain regular admission and be accepted as a candidate for the Graduate Healthcare Management Certificate Program by the College of Business.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

MAster of Accounting and Fraud Examination

The B.B.A./M.S. in Accounting and Fraud Examination Licensures will be a five-year, 150-hour, dual baccalaureate and Masters of Science degrees program. Of the 150 hours, 34 hours are allocated to the liberal arts core (general education) requirements, 39 hours are allocated to the business core, 12 hours are allocated to professional support courses, 57 hours are allocated to the major, and eight hours are allocated to general electives. The program curriculum aligned with Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner credentials. The curriculum will allow students who complete the program to be immediately eligible to sit for both the CPA and CFE certification exams. Students who pass the CFE certification exam will be eligible for the credential after one year of fraud-related experience.

DUAL B.B.A. / M.B.A.

Dual B.B.A./M.B.A. and b.b.a/m.s.

The College of Business also offers dual enrollment B.B.A./M.B.A. and B.B.A./M.S. degrees that allow the student to earn an undergraduate business degree and an M.B.A. or M.S.. B.B.A./M.B.A. students can earn this dual degree in marketing, management, finance, data analytics, sports administration or accounting, in which they will also obtain the credits needed to take the C.P.A. exam. B.B.A./M.S. students will obtain the credits needed to take the C.P.A. and C.F.E. exams. The B.B.A./M.B.A. and B.B.A./M.S. degree programs are detailed in the undergraduate catalog.

The Dual B.B.A./M.B.A. program allows currently enrolled students to complete both degrees with only an additional 24 credit hours, a total credit load of 150 hours upon graduation.

Students seeking their B.B.A. at FHU can earn these degrees in business administration, finance, marketing, management, and accounting, in which you will receive the credits needed to sit for the C.P.A. exam.

Each degree will be obtained simultaneously following the completion of coursework as outlined at the bottom of each major's page. Undergraduate coursework will be completed on campus at FHU during the traditional 16-week semester. Graduate coursework is primarily completed online in an 8-week format.

Admission to the B.B.A./M.B.A. program requires

60 total completed credit hours,
a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0, and
a minimum score of either a 450 on the GMAT or a 290 on the GRE. The GMAT or GRE is waived for students with a GPA of 3.4 or higher.
