Freed-Hardeman University Appoints Batte and Rucker to Board of Trustees
Henderson, Tennessee – (April 22, 2024) – Freed-Hardeman University has announced the appointments of Kyle Batte, of Aubrey, Texas, and Jana Rucker, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as the newest members of the FHU Board of Trustees.
Scott Latham, Chairman of Board of Trustees, to Deliver FHU Spring Commencement Address
Henderson, Tennessee – (April 19, 2024) – Scott E. Latham, newly appointed chairman of the FHU Board of Trustees, will deliver the commencement address at Freed-Hardeman University’s spring graduation ceremony. The commencement will take place on May 11, 2024, at 10 a.m. in Loyd Auditorium and will mark the conclusion of FHU’s 154th academic year.
FHU Recognizes Retirees for Their Years of Service to the University
Henderson, Tennessee – (April 17, 2024) – Freed-Hardeman University recently celebrated five longstanding members of its faculty and staff in recognition of their upcoming retirements. Dr. Tom DeBerry, Mrs. Karen Hobbs, Dr. Gary McKnight, Mr. Clarence McNeal and Dr. David Powell, together representing a combined 129 years of service to the university, were honored during a special chapel presentation and reception Wednesday, April 10.
