2023-2024 Academic Year

June 2023

  • Begin working through Financial Aid missing documents - these can be found through your financial aid portal under the “Documents & Messages” tab. Contact your RAD with specific questions about these documents. We can walk you through it!

  • Instructions for this paperwork will be sent to you in your Financial Aid Award Letter; contingent on when the FAFSA is filed.


July 2023

  • Complete all Financial Aid Missing Documents by end of July

  • Register for classes. If you have paid your Enrollment Pledge, contact your RAD to set up an appointment to register over the phone.

 

August 2023

Welcome Home FHU Class of ‘27!

  • August 19th - Welcome Home and Operation Helping Hands. Welcome Home Day is all about YOU! We will get you checked in and there will be a team of FHU family waiting to help you move in!


September 2023

  • FHU begins officially accepting 2024 seniors on September 1. Be on the lookout for your acceptance package! 

 

October 2023

  • Complete your 2024-2025 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online at studentaid.gov. Make sure to add Freed-Hardeman as a school to receive it. School Code: 003492  

  • A limited number of awards are given on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Join us on campus for a personalized Campus Visit experience - Sign Up Today! 

 

November 2023

  • Review your Official Award Package once mailed out to you, contact your Regional Admissions Director to go over questions once you receive it. We are happy to help!

  • Come visit for Homecoming Weekend - November 10-12!

 

December 2023

  • Enjoy the Holidays! 

  • See FHU on the Road at Exposure Youth Camp in Huntsville!

 

January 2024

  • See FHU on the road at CYC Dallas, Winterfest Dallas, Evangelism University, GULF Youth Experience, or the Teen Ohio Winter Lectures! 

  • Review your Official Award Package with your Regional Admissions Director, if you have not already. 

 

February 2024

  • Join us on campus for a personalized Campus Visit experience - Sign Up Today! 

  • See FHU on the road at Winterfest & CYC!

 

March 2024

  • Finalize and submit applications for outside scholarships.

 

April 2024

  • Attend Maroon & Gold Day and stay for Makin' Music (our treat!) - Register Now!

  • Accept or decline your FHU awards package by April 15, after that point scholarships and grants will be subject to the availability of funds. 

  • Pay your Enrollment Pledge to secure your registration appointment slot and dorm preference.

  • Work with your Regional Admissions Director to set up a registration date once your Enrollment Pledge is paid.

 

May 2024

Congrats, grads! One step closer to being #fhubound!

  • Request your official final 4-year transcript to be sent to FHU Admissions by your guidance counselor, an official copy can also be emailed to our office directly from your guidance counselor. 

  • Rising high school juniors and seniors: Apply to FHU!
