For more about Bob, see www.alifestyleoflight.com. He passed on to Glory on April 19,'16, after our 60th Anniversary (Apr. 7th) at home in Lascassas, TN. He was the most Godly man and the best Bible teacher teacher I have known. We met at FHC, in '54. After working in industry for 13 [years], going on to David Lipscomb for his degree then into ministry, we traveled to more than 60 countries, sharing The Good News. God has truly blessed us, and Bob is now Home, where he had been longing to go. I would like to explain how much we were ONE, but merely written words could never do that.

On April 9, 2016, I moderated a panel discussion at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum celebrating rockabilly musician Carl Perkins and the 60th anniversary of his song, "Blue Suede Shoes." The panel included Stan Perkins (Carl's oldest son), David McGee (Perkins' biographer), Peter Guralnick (Sam Phillips' biographer), Chuck Mead (music director for the stage play, Million Dollar Quartet), and country singer Naomi Judd.
I also wrote and secured a state resolution declaring April 9, 2016 as Carl Perkins' "Blue Suede Shoes" Day in the state of Tennessee.
