Recently published third book, "Twig Benders: The Village That Raised Me," a collection of character studies that illustrate how a child forms values from what she observes in the community around her. This fictionalized account of real events pulls out lessons learned about true friendship between old men of different races, how every community needs a dreamer, that even the worst among us have some good in them, that life is not always fair but you have to keep living, and it's better to get part of what you want than to get none of it. Book is available on, and at Barnes & Noble, and local bookstores.
