Loden-Daniel Library

The Loden-Daniel library at Freed-Hardeman University provides a scholarly environment for students who are focused on academic excellence. The first floor is a central location for group work and study sessions, while the second floor offers study areas for individual students. Students are welcome to bring food and drink into the library, while snacks and drinks are also for sale.

The library is full of resources for students including various periodicals, microfilm, an expansive reference area, and access to multiple online journals and periodicals. However, for students with a bit more free time, the AV library also provides FLIX movie rentals, which operates on a system similar to that of Netflix. Additionally, throughout the year, the librarians host an occasional game night and give a lively chapel program.
