About Aarek Farmer

Dr. Farmer attended Freed-Hardeman University from 2000-2007 as a student and/or staff member. He was then set up on a blind date in Florida, engaged in two months and married the love of his life within the year.  He and his wife, Jennifer, and have been married  since 2007. They have 3 beautiful children.  Dr. Farmer welcomed the invitation to return to FHU as an adjunct professor after receiving his Ed.D. in 2010 from the University of Memphis. He currently serves as the Director of the Ed.D. Program in Instructional Leadership as well as the Director of Academics at FHU's Memphis Campus. He teaches graduate courses in the education department.

Dr. Farmer resides in Memphis and worships with the Great Oaks Church of Christ, where he also serves as minister.
