Rick Brumback  serves as Associate Professor and holds the E. Claude and Delorese Gardner Chair of Excellence in Bible in the College of Biblical Studies and Graduate School of Theology.

He specializes in early church history and literature, especially third- and fourth-century Trinitarian controversies.

Rick began at FHU in 2017. Prior to that, he served as Director and professor at the Southwest School of Bible Studies. He has preached for a number of congregations in central Texas and participated in ministry campaigns in the Czech Republic, Romania, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Cambodia.

Before changing to ministry and theological studies, he worked as a research physicist with the USAF/DoD in high explosives research and development.
