Mid South Youth Camp Mess Hall Manager

Department: Mid-South Youth Camp                        

Status: Part-Time, Exempt

Position Summary:

Assists Associate and Assistant Director(s) of Mid-South Youth Camp by performing

the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)

  1. Manages guests and visitors who visit MSYC for any reason.

  2. Track campers who need to leave camp for any reason.

  3. Coordinates camper mail pick up and drop off daily, including junior camp if needed.

  4. Prepares mess hall for meals, coordinates meal set up and oversees the clean up after meals.

  5. Facilitates distribution of campers spending money to the junior counselors each morning.

  6. Assists on Sundays or Fridays with anything that needs to be done in

    addition to the regularly assigned duties.

  7. Answers the phone and coordinates messages for other staff members.

  8. Coordinates camper care with nursing staff.

 

Requirements:

High School Diploma

 

Salary:

Commensurate with training, education, and experience.
