Regional Admission Director, Graduate Programs

Position Summary:

The regional admissions director for graduate programs assists the director of the Office of Graduate Admissions with enrollment management, marketing, and recruiting of graduate students.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)

  1. Recruits students for all graduate and outreach programs.

  2. Obtains and maintains a current, thorough understanding of graduate degree programs and services at FHU.

  3. Attends recruiting events and follows-up with contacts gained during each event. Travel to recruiting venues and face-to-face contact with prospective students is a significant portion of the job.

  4. Provides initial advisement including, but not limited to, admissions requirements, policies, and prerequisite courses for prospective graduate students interested in pursuing a graduate degree at FHU.

  5. Maintains documentation of communication with prospective students.

  6. Takes a leading role in writing, editing, and distributing promotional materials related to all graduate programs, including letters, email, webpages, postings on social media websites, and other media.

  7. Plans and coordinates recruitment activities in conjunction with graduate directors.

  8. Facilitates faculty visits to businesses, universities, and other organization to promote graduate programs at FHU.

  9. Develops and maintains communication links with universities, community colleges, graduate employers, media, civic organizations, government entities, international and other organizations.

  10. Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Salary:

Commensurate with training, education, and experience.
