Dining & Meal Plans

Dining at FHU

The college dining experience is more than just great food. Because all students living on campus are required to purchase a meal plan, the campus dining locations become some of the best places to meet up and hang out with friends. In the mornings, grab a drink on your way to class at KC’s Coffeehouse. For lunch, stop by Gano Dining Hall for international pasta, a fresh grilled burger, or a meat and three vegetable plate. At night, swing through Lion’s Pride for options such as chicken fingers, burgers, and salads.

This hall offers the traditional “all-you-care-to-eat” buffet experience with a variety of menu options. Diners can choose between the Classic Line which features an entrée and side dishes, the International Station which provides dishes inspired by cuisine from around the world, and the Flying Star Diner where the staff prepares made-to-order grill items. On top of all this there are a variety of deserts, pizza and pasta options, and your options of sandwiches.

Lion’s Pride

Lion’s Pride is located in the Burks Student Center below Wallace-Gano Dining Hall, is more of a grab-and-go type facility. Housing Grille @ Freed-Hardman and selections from Simply-to-Go, Lion’s Pride is open with late hours for those who are hungry at night. Whether it’s sub sandwiches, chicken fingers, burgers, salads, fruit, ice cream, energy drinks, or coffee, students can grab some food for a quick meal in the student center, or take it with them to eat a meal on the run. Students can use either a meal plan or their Lion Bucks down in Lion’s Pride.

KC’s Coffeehouse

KC’s Coffeehouse is located on the ground floor of the Hope Barber Shull Academic Resource Center. This is a great place to grab a drink and knock out some homework, or just grab a seat and relax. KC’s offers a wide variety of coffees, hot teas, hot chocolates, smoothies, and chilled drinks. They also have a great selection of gourmet pastries, muffins, brownies, and other baked goods. Students can use their Lion Bucks to purchase items in KC’s Coffeehouse.
