Alpha Chi Inducts 20 FHU Students

Twenty Freed-Hardeman University students were inducted into Alpha Chi National College Honor Society in a ceremony Monday, March 16.

Freed-Hardeman’s Tennessee Iota chapter of Alpha Chi was chartered April 22, 1977. Invitations for membership in Alpha Chi are extended to juniors and seniors who have a good reputation, are in the upper ten percent of their class and have cumulative grade point averages of at least 3.75 on 80 or more credit hours.

The following students were inducted: J.T. Baker, senior history major from Mount Juliet, Tenn.; Stefano Basso, senior management major from Parana, Brazil; Abby Besson, senior electronic media major from Cynthiana, Ky.; Lauren Bradley, senior exercise science major from Lewisburg, Tenn.; William Bush, senior convergent media major from Evansville, Ind.; Kaylin Carder, senior art major from Fairmont, W.Va.; Will Cobb, senior nursing major from Petersburg, Tenn.; Luc Edwards, junior finance major from Mount Pleasant, Tenn.; Emily Eglinton, senior arts and humanities and elementary education major from Hohenwald, Tenn.; and Tyler Estes, senior physical science major from Cottontown, Tenn.

Other inductees included Jessie Fritz, senior management major from Ligonier, Pa.; Faith Harp, senior child and family studies and social work major from Glasgow, Ky.; Kimberly Hughes, junior elementary education major from Waverly, Tenn.; Tori Hunt, senior art major from Lynnville, Tenn.; Hannah Kelley, senior mathematics and secondary education major from South Point, Ohio; Richard Law, senior finance major from Columbia, Tenn.; Lauren Moss, senior child and family studies and early childhood education major from Readyville, Tenn.; Kevin Record, senior psychology major from Meridianville, Ala.; Sara Wiser, senior arts and humanities and elementary education major from Taft, Tenn.; and Erika Zurauskaite, senior exercise science major from Harrison, Tenn.
