A Union City pediatrician will speak to Freed-Hardeman University’s Ethics Colloquium at 7:00pm Monday night, Sept. 30, 2019, in Ayers Auditorium. Dr. John Bates will discuss medical mistrust with students in FHU’s Pre-Health Arts Program (PHAP).
Bates began Pediatric Place in Union City in 2007, following completion of his pediatric residency at Duke University Medical Center. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at University of Alabama School of Medicine. He is a 2000 graduate of Freed-Hardeman University, where he earned two baccalaureate degrees, a Bachelor of Science in biology and a Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Ethics colloquiums are offered each semester for students in the PHAP.
