  • FHU Executive Vice President/CFO to Return to Classroom

    Freed-Hardeman University’s chief financial officer and executive vice president Dwayne Wilson will step down from his administrative role and again join the ranks of the College of Business faculty for the Spring 2019 semester, according to FHU President David Shannon. The university will begin the search for his replacement in September.

  • FHU Announces Leadership Changes for College of Biblical Studies

    Freed-Hardeman University has announced role changes in the leadership of its College of Biblical Studies. Dr. Mark Blackwelder has been named dean of the college and Dr. Doug Burleson has been appointed assistant dean, succeeding Dr. David Powell who continues as a member of the biblical studies faculty. In addition, Dr. Justin Rogers will become the director of the Graduate School of Theology, a position formerly held by Blackwelder.
