  • “You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown” To Open FHU Theatre Season

    Freed-Hardeman University Theatre will open its 2016 - 2017 Theatre Season Oct. 13 with “You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” This musical is a revival of the 1998 Broadway play with three new songs, along with arrangements of the old songs. The whole cast is here: Charlie Brown, Lucy, Schroeder, Linus, Sally and Snoopy use their beloved Peanuts charm to make a fun show.

  • GetEducated.com Ranks FHU M.B.A. 23rd Among Best Affordable Programs

    GetEducated.com has ranked Freed-Hardeman University’s distance Master of Business Administration 23rd in its listing of Best Affordable Online MBA Programs with Regional Accreditation. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges as well as the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs accredits FHU’s program.

  • FHU / Dickson Enrollment Rises

    Sep 14, 2016

    Enrollment for Fall 2016 at FHU/Dickson has passed the century mark with more than 100 students enrolling for the fall semester. Freed-Hardeman University began offering coursework leading to bachelor’s degrees in elementary education and business in 2014. Since that time, four-year degrees in criminal justice, psychology, social work and nursing have been added.

  • FHU Enrollment Surpasses 1,900

    Fall 2016 enrollment at Freed-Hardeman University increased by 4.3 percent over Fall 2015, according to Dr. C.J. Vires, FHU provost. Total headcount for FHU, which includes students in Henderson, Memphis and Dickson, is 1,906. Undergraduates account for 1,402 of the total; graduate, 504.

  • FHU Bible Professor to Debate Renowned Atheist

    Freed-Hardeman University Professor of Bible and Philosophy Ralph Gilmore, and Dr. Alexander Rosenberg, the R. Taylor Cole Professor of Philosophy at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, will debate the existence of God Tuesday, Sept. 27, 6:30-9:30pm EDT. The event, sponsored by the Warren Center for Apologetics, will be in Mershon Auditorium on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The central question for the debate will be “Is God a Moral Monster?”

  • Thousands Expected to Attend FHU’s RUSH
