They’re coming! Visitors to Henderson will start arriving this weekend in anticipation of Freed-Hardeman University’s 81st Annual Bible Lectureship. Sessions begin Sunday evening, Feb. 5, at 7:00pm. Phil Sanders, speaker for “In Search of the Lord’s Way,” a national television ministry, will discuss “A Vision for the Kingdom.”

Leadership Middle Tennessee focused on health and health care at its meeting Jan.18-19, 2017. The group visited the recently opened health sciences wing at Freed-Hardeman University / Dickson, the emergency department at TriStar Natchez ER for a mock patient drill and TriStar Horizon HCA where they toured the operating room and participated in a scrub-in.

Freed-Hardeman University Theatre will open 2017 with a production of “Greater Tuna” Jan. 26-28 in the Black Box Theatre. Characterized as a satire on Southern life, the play will also be presented Feb. 2-4. In addition to the 7:00pm performances, matinees are planned for 2:00pm Jan. 28 and Feb. 4.

Chattanooga artist Amanda Brazier will display her work Feb. 2 - March 3 at Freed-Hardeman University’s Troy Plunk Gallery in Bulliner-Clayton Visual Arts Center. The exhibition is entitled "The Gardener and the Carpenter."
