Freed-Hardeman University students are better satisfied with their college choice than the national average, according to a survey taken by the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education. FHU students are also more likely to recommend FHU to a friend or family member than students at other universities are to recommend their choices.

The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) has granted the Freed-Hardeman University nursing program accreditation for the next 10 years, 2019-2029.

Freed-Hardeman University seniors Emma Butt and Marshall Dearing were named Homecoming Queen and King Saturday, Nov. 9, at a ceremony conducted during halftime of the women’s basketball game. The entire court, selected by the students, had been presented to the student body earlier in the week.

Freed-Hardeman University students have chosen their representatives on the 2019 Homecoming court. The court will be presented Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the 10:30am chapel service in Loyd Auditorium. The queen and king will be announced Saturday, Nov. 9, at halftime of the Lady Lion basketball game.

Freed-Hardeman University’s Pied Pipers, Company II will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the formation of the troupe at FHU with a reunion of former Pipers Saturday, Nov. 9, during Homecoming festivities. In addition, this date will mark a revival of the Pied Pipers at FHU.
